The RSQ® Clinical Assessment provides clinical feedback that practitioners need in order to improve patient safety while reducing medical errors and malpractice claims.
The tool measures a department’s compliance with documentation and indicators of quality clinical practice, teamwork, communication, and patient management in all of the high-risk areas of emergency medicine and obstetrics. Over 200 data points are assessed. A key feature is the ability to monitor your department over time and benchmark against hundreds of peers. The results allow departments to direct their efforts toward changes in processes and medical practice that result in sustained improvements in both patient safety and the department’s risk profile.
The RSQ® Clinical Assessment tool is employed in over 300 medical facilities and has been successful in reducing the frequency of malpractice claims by as much as 60%. It is completely confidential and HIPAA compliant, and we can train you to use the tool yourself or we can provide the professional services to do it for you.
RSQ® Operational Assessment
The RSQ® Operational Assessment is a comprehensive analysis of the operation of your medical department, including (where appropriate):
